Hearing ppl not familiar with comics talk about the trinity is so funny, why do you assume Batman and Superman have the same moral code and then Wonder Woman is just bloodthirsty all the time???

They’re both orphans. That’s one of the main reasons why their friendship is so compelling. Both of their parents have been dead since their creation. Batman’s parents are only dead cause Superman did it first 😭

It's not called the Fortress of Solitude for fun, it's the remains of the life of a Man who has nobody, full of memories and eventually literal pieces of his dead planet. Eventually he finds new people in Bruce, Diana, Dick, Kara, and Lois to let in.

"Hopecore" Superman, is an uninteresting Superman. He's not a character, he's a vibe. He's a version of the character not motivated by any sort of characterization or purpose, but to simply exist and make the audience feel good, about him and themselves.

If I could make any one singular change to Superman lore it’d be to change the meaning of the S from hope to action, as in the need for action in the face of injustice. Standing for what’s right isn’t an idea, it’s an action.

I think that it's revealing that everyone ditched the one political talking point the Superman crew confirmed because they screwed it up that much No one's talking about how good of an immigrant story it is because it is objectively horrible as that
