To everyone that came to heworth yesterday to support our first game back in 3 years, we all would like to say a massive thank you. Yesterday’s score may have gone down as a defeat on paper but for the players it was a huge win.

After 3 years+ out of the game for most of the squad, to turn up to such an established club as heworth and put in the performance they did was outstanding. Special shout out to Taylor Allen for putting on the live feed for people that couldn’t make the trip through.

Other special mentions are Sam Jackson, Jacob Burton, Arron Ogden, Rhys Bailey and Josh Collin on their debuts for the club. It was also nice to see Kane Seavers, Mike Snow and James Millward after such an extended period away.

Yesterdays performance has really put the fire in the belly’s to strive for improvement and keep driving forward for the season ahead. The club hopes the players can enjoy this with as many spectators as possible #WATP
