A lone indigenous complainant has easily scuttled Woodside Energy's $19b Scarborough gas project 400km off the coast of WA.
Imagine how much harder it will be to get things done if the #VoiceReferendum gets up, says Alan Jones.
The only good thing to come from this debate is
Japanese company Jera is investing $1.4bn in Australia's Scarborough gas project. This venture with Woodside Energy will secure up to 1.2mn t/yr of LNG.

Looks like Woodside Energy's branding has been disrupted.
The Scarborough 'gas' project switched to an 'energy' project weeks ago, and the term Burrup Hub for the Browse and Scarbrough fields filling 2 LNG plants for decades is dropped.
The name's changed, the plan's the same.

This is really heartening work from Traditional Owner Raelene Cooper & Environmental Defenders Office.
They took on Woodside's climate wrecking plans for seismic blasting and won.
It's a massive blow to Woodside's Scarborough gas plan, and a huge win for the people, the climate & environment.
Woodside has its $17B Scarborough gas project (375km out at sea) FULLY approved. One Indigenous woman said she was not consulted enough. A FEDERAL COURT Judge has overturned the approval. A SIGN OF THINGS TO COME, if Albo's Voice gets up. Aussies must vote NO!! #VoteNoAustralia

Just a reminder that the Scarborough gas field is approximately 370 kms off the coast NW of Exmouth.
370 kms.
That is all.
