When capturing 3D, it’s not ideal to go in a straight line as you need to offer parallax to the render algorithm. I flew a very narrow V on this ceiling due to the confined space (and nerves) to get something of a result. #NeRF #DJI St Mary Redcliffe Church Luma AI

Our Celtic ancestors marked this day as the midpoint between summer solstice and equinox. They called it Lughnasad (LOO-nuh-suh), named after the god Lugh associated with skill, craftsmanship and the sun. My inner #neopagan shares nature in #3DGS to celebrate. Enjoy!

These pillars are ancient stone crosses and were commonly used in medieval times as wayside markers, boundary indicators, or memorials. They marked routes for pilgrims, signified parish boundaries, or commemorated significant events or individuals. #Crowcombe. Luma AI

Claudius here, was found with Roman boots on and buried north to south. I managed to cut away the glare on his case by pressing my phone against it, using #Scaniverse on #LiDAR mode. KingJohnHuntingLodge

The blue stones of the inner circle of Stonehenge come from here in the #PreseliHills, #Wales. Allegedly a right angled triangle between, Ynys Elen (the elbow island, in old Welsh) and the henge exists with a 94% accuracy. DJI Luma AI #NeRF

My Eagle Max #LiDAR Scanner can capture 250 foot in all directions. It has 4 cameras and a screen. I like it but I still get better quality #NeRF and #GaussianSplats with my phone or dslr. Hopefully this will change in a future firmware update. Luma AI

This is how I scan taller objects. I’m using #Scaniverse here so I don’t stop and start when I carefully invert the phone from top to bottom as it maintains the same angle (30-45 degrees). The whole scan was made with 3 loops. The first pointing straight at the font. #3DGS
