If a cop has to do 100+ MPH in a 65 MPH zone to catch up to a driver doing ~80 MPH who's the real hazard? I had a police officer pass me on 275 well in excess of 100MPH (my car shook when he went by) then watched the officer get behind a driver and make a traffic stop.

This is a directive that all law enforcement leaders should be giving. The government has no lawful duty to protect. This is why police officers are acquitted of not taking action during school shootings. Focus on threat in front of you, not the person with the camera.
