Declassified documents reveal that Gandhi actively informed the Allied Powers about Netaji’s presence in Russia. His own secretary confirmed this in a letter written on his behalf. Gandhi was a British puppet — handpicked and planted in India after his service in the Boer War.

Similarly, a close friend of Nehru and the biographer of Indira Gandhi, Justice GD Khosla, headed the investigation into Netaji's death in 1972. Justice Khosla had previously publicly insulted Netaji. Netaji's family rejected his findings and claimed that he was still alive.
