On 12 October, the Resident &Humanitarian Coordinator Matthias Schmale chaired the inaugural Steering Committee for the Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) project focused on the management of mass exits in Borno State. Matthias Schmale & Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum as co chair signed the Terms of Reference.

This 24-month project Implemented by UN Development, IOM - UN Migration 🇺🇳 & Maria A Reed Stacey strengthens the early warning capacities in the state, provides mental health and psycho-social support to the communities who have lived in conflict settings and addresses livelihood restoration.
