Thinking about the time Michigan ended Nick Saban's career with a walk-off goalline stand at the Rose Bowl with a spot in the National Championship Game on the line.

Tom Izzo? There’s an idea. Replace someone who struggles to find success in the modern game and is living off his success from a decade ago with a guy who struggles to find success in the modern game and is living off his success from two decades ago.

With Purdue punching its ticket to the National Title game, Michigan is no longer the last Big Ten school to play for a hoops natty.

The Wolverines will just have to settle for being the B1G’s last school to make the football, baseball and softball title games.

…Hockey soon?

Congratulations to Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeye women’s basketball team. If Iowa’s performance in the title game is anything like football season, I fully expect Michigan to be hoisting some hardware on Sunday.

This is wildly disappointing. Still time for NCAA Ice Hockey to reverse course and make it right, though.

My man never got to talk the smack he had planned heading into the last two editions of The Game, so he decided to unleash it once Ohio State filled a coaching vacancy … that was caused by a coach leaving his staff for Michigan.

Told my son they used to have CFPs and Frozen Fours without Michigan and he straight-up called me a liar. Said that can’t be true and not refuses to come out of his room. How do I rebuild this relationship now that he feels like I betrayed his trust?
