Had such a fun day presenting about Accessibility for people with aphasia and other communication difficulties on placement last week! 📝📚📖 We hope the Homerton, St Leonard's ACRT MDT enjoyed it as much as we did. Some people even succeeded with their origami foxes! 🦊

👏🏼Absolutely incredible. I'm reflecting on the invaluable work of interpreters in SLT. I'm working with a Turkish-speaking interpreter now. Learnt a few phrases during our "Loud and Clear" functional phrases but can't imagine the resilience in learning a new language🗣️😱🤯👏🏼

It was the end of SLAN0010 lectures last Friday. The place for learning about Speech, Swallowing and Voice 💬🥣🗣️It's good to get stuck in with lectures. Here's a memory I won't forget of Lesley Cavalli palpating my larynx! Never sung solo AND publicly before that day 😂
