🌍 Yesterday marked the longest day in the Southern Hemisphere! ☀️🦒 On the 21st December, the sun stayed over the African skies a little longer — a reminder of the power of the natural world. Photo Credit - Jessica Davis

Throwing it back to an unforgettable moment in Botswana! This is the incredible team who made the Goo Moremi Gorge giraffe translocation possible. A reminder of just how many skilled, dedicated people it takes to successfully move giraffes and give them a second chance.

We absolutely love receiving these videos from camera traps in the Athi Kapiti Plains. 📸🦒 Giraffes at sunset must be one of our favourite sights. 💛

Hello little one 🤍 Nkarakoni, one of the beautiful giraffes at Ruko Conservancy, welcomed a gorgeous new calf into the world last year. Welcome to the world, little one. We can’t wait to watch you grow, explore, and thrive in this remarkable landscape. #

Here’s Thapelo from our team on a visit to Goo Moremi Gorge in Botswana 🌿🦒 How lucky are we to see it so beautifully green right now, it does mean the giraffes were hard to spot, but that was a good problem 😉, and we are delighted to hear they are looking happy and healthy.

The calf who stole the show 🤩 You might remember the little male calf at Ruko Conservancy who was hand-raised by the rangers? A little while ago, he attended a local event at the Ruko headquarters and absolutely stole the show. #SaveGiraffesNow #GiraffeConservation

A large bull giraffe was spotted with a piece of pipe tightly stuck around his foot — an extremely dangerous situation for an animal of his size. Thanks to wild.com_sa , and with SGN funding, the team was able to safely intervene.
