When Cinquanta declared war on the pro side of the sport (b/c he thought it hurt the amateur side) & made it virtually impossible for even skaters w/ any modicum of "stardom" to create new pro shows/transition to adult skating or other opportunities, THAT'S what created this.

Are people really confused about the US Pairs selection? I thought people understood summer events like Glacier Falls and Champs Camp would be used to decide this, you can’t go with past results, you need to choose who is most in form NOW (i.e. Shin/Nagy)…
