This week we revisited one of our favorite class #STEM challenges 👩‍🔬 The winning team was able to apply what they learned the first time around, and construct the tallest freestanding tower in the class, measuring in at a new record of 115 cm 😮 Job well done 👏 #LongfellowBears

This week we enjoyed a visit from the Oak Park and River Forest High School Japanese Club 🇯🇵 They taught us a little bit about Japanese culture and showed us how to make some simple origami! #LongfellowBears #WeAreD97

3rd grade poets participated in a poetry slam on Zoom! This platform made presenting in front of 90 more comfortable & accessible for all students since it eliminated the stage fright & empowered more students to present @golemes_utter Mr. Sassetti's 3rd Grade #oakpark97 #longfellowbears
