Everything has been escalated appropriately. Not sure why you assume otherwise. I also never said this was in Cheshire East. It isn't. I see no reason not to have shared my original tweet.

Disappointing number of people with this question. Not without exposing her which I'm not going to do. Also, what sort of evidence do you want or believe you are entitled to?

Older people experiencing domestic abuse can feel 'hidden' from support. No one should have to spend decades living in fear; we need fully funded domestic abuse services for all, including tailored support for older people. safelives.org.uk/invest-to-end-… #Invest2EndAbuse #16Days

Rather than asking: ‘Did the children see the violence?’, we need to ask: ‘How were the children affected by all the behaviours the perpetrator used to achieve their destructive goal of getting and maintaining control?’. #domesticabuse #coercivecontrol #domesticviolence #16Days

You’ve got a friend who is in an abusive relationship. They come to you for help. You want to help them, but you don’t know how. You’re anxious and unsure how best to offer support. Chayn’s Good Friend Guide is just the right thing for you. chayn.gitbook.io/the-good-frien… #16days

'because' the woman had 'taken no physical steps' to stop the man from raping her, that 'this did not constitute rape'. I hope this brave survivor wins her appeal #domesticabuse dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7… via Mail Online #rape

Actually a rapid reflective response from senior leadership at school. Police progressing the incident, training needs identified along with a clear plan to satisfaction of safeguarding and LADO and formal apology to child and parents. Fairly impressive accountability

“Since the Tories have been in power we have seen so many cuts to women’s services. I don’t trust that they’re going to help.” Every rape survivor deserves the chance to recover. Labour will ensure sexual assault survivors are treated with care, compassion, dignity and respect.

Thank you for highlighting our situation. Domestic abuse increases during crisis. Positives: we're responsive and agile at this rapidly changing time. Negatives: we urgently need tech support in the form of laptops and smartphones to support vulnerable families
