So proud of these 18 R M Moore Elementary School STEM Academy teachers who started their summer by spending two days working on writing. We dug into standards, Write Score data, worked in vertical teams to create rubrics and exemplars, and create a set of resources for writing to meet the needs of students!

Ms. Hudgins (Lindsay Hudgins) is an amazing teacher leader. I love working with her on any number of initiatives!

Love how my students are so into our Save the Bees unit! We had a student bring in a Queen Bee “trap” from a family member’s bee collection to show the class! She did such a great job explaining the importance of the Queen bee!
