2/We analysed 20 videos and a photo of 10 separate incidents uploaded to social media platforms between August 24, 2023, and July 11, 2024. In one incident the RSF execute at least 21 men in W.Kordofan, in another SAF execute three detainees, possibly children, in Omdurman.

3/While some of the victims appear to be in military uniform, other victims were in civilian clothes. Fighter or not, summary execution, torture, and mutilation are #WarCrimes

4/These videos are most likely just the tip of the iceberg of a wider context of such grave violations. Without robust monitoring of parties’ alleged commitments, ongoing international investigations, and consequences for these actions, the crimes will persist.
