Jesus is the best friend you will ever have. He always listens. He always understands. He always includes you. He will not condemn you but will lovingly point you in the right direction. And He will NEVER abandon or betray you.

don’t wait until you’re ready to flee from temptation. flee from temptation now. God will give you the strength when you ask Him.

God will never lead you into temptation, but He might not always remove temptation from your life. He wants you to learn how to say no. He wants you to increase in self discipline.

when is the last time you truly shared the gospel with someone? this was Jesus’s greatest commandment to us. this is something that should be on the forefront of our minds every day.

take a minute right now to pray for this country. it doesn’t matter what side you’re on, or what you believe. violence will never unite us. we ARE the United States. we need to remain united.

So… guess who has covid? 🥲🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m not doing fantastic, but I’ll be just fine very soon. I have whole body chills and aches, head is pounding, can’t breathe out of my nose and have a nasty cough. I’m thanking Jesus for what is sure to be a smooth and speedy recovery 👏🏼

we can’t fall from grace, no matter what we do. our significance in God’s eyes is not dependent on our actions, but it’s dependent on our status as His children. and through faith in Christ, you will always be His child.

FIVE YEARS! half a decade of marriage… wow. sometimes a float on the lazy river, other times a plunge right into the deep end. but we continue, every day, to commit to this beautiful mystery that we are still figuring out together. here’s to us, and to a beautiful five years. 🤍

I find much more success with fleeing temptation when, instead of asking God to help me to stop giving in to that temptation, I ask Him to take away my desire for that temptation.
