Lucky escape for Puspakant Mohanty(48) & Rasmiranjan Swain(37). Their car fail into flooded Mahanadi at Rahama. Fortunately car after being swept away for a distance, was stuck in a bush giving time for our teams from Tirtol & Jagatsinghpur to rescue them. #EveryLifePrecious

Two of our teams from Chandahandi & Jharigaon carried out prompt rescue work in a Bus accident in Chandahandi ghati. Unfortunately, there has been a death.16 injured were taken to hospital. Bus was carrying students of a local school for a sports event. #EveryLifePrecious

Former DGP Odisha Sarat Mishra, IPS, 1959 batch, breathed his last after a brief illness. He was 88, served as DGP Odisha in 1991-92. After retirement he devoted his time for DAV Movement & to writing. An officer of impeccable integrity, he would no more be there for us. 🙏
