From St Austell in Cornwall to the Thames Estuary by my reckoning there are currently 87 different locations where sewage is being dumped on beaches and into the sea. So how's you're bank holiday weekend going?

So the ‘woke’-bashing ⁦Mail+⁩ lays into ⁦National Trust⁩ again. For doing a bit more to tackle climate change. To be clear we are not banning meat or anything like it, just having a look at making some sensible reductions. RT or like if you stand with us.

52 miles along the #Norfolkcoastpath it’s so magical - I was quietly watching a Marsh Harrier, having just counted 18 Curlews on the nearest mud flat when 6 Spoonbills flew really low overhead. Just wonderful. Stunning landscape. #holkham #nature #northNorfolk🐦‍⬛🌳🐝🐞🌊☘️

Our bees, butterflies, and wildlife are disappearing. 🦋 Yet, councils continue to spray pesticides in parks, playgrounds and public spaces— harming the nature we love. Join the call for a ban: brnw.ch/21wMEYD Let’s #GoPesticideFree and help nature recover. ✊

It’s spooky season, but let’s not make it scary for wildlife! 🎃👻 Fake web decorations can trap and injure our garden wildlife. Stick to sustainable, indoor decorations—and let real spiders do the work outdoors! Share these tips & help spread awareness 👇

Fake spiderwebs like these can trap and injure wildlife, including birds, insects and small mammals. They’re made from polyester or other artificial fibres, and aren't recyclable. Please choose eco-friendly decorations if celebrating Halloween! More: bit.ly/3NFSEQn

“This is the new extinction & we are half way through it. We are in terrible, terrible trouble & the longer we wait to do something about it the worse it is going to get.” Sir #DavidAttenborough No time to wait. #ActOnClimate #ClimateCrisis #climate #nature #renewables #cop16

Amid #COP16, the latest IUCN Red List update by BirdLife International reveals migratory waders like the Grey Plover and Dunlin are in real trouble. 🚨 We’re fighting to protect them and their habitats, but global action is critical to halt their decline.

Lovely listening to people talk about the importance of nature connection to our health & wellbeing, including finding nature in urban environments & when you’re unable to travel or leave your home. BBC Radio 4 #RSPBNaturePrescriptions helping us to do this RSPB England 🥰

Snowdrops pushing through, woodpeckers drumming, and the light stretching a little longer each day. Winter is loosening its grip...slowly, subtly. Have you noticed any changes in nature recently? ☀️ #ThoughtfulThursday
