Really original report measuring how many jobs people could potentially reach by car/public transport within x minutes. I'll definitely be exploring how we can use this data in our partnership work to improve connectivity for jobseekers on Restart, JETS and other services.

I remember working as a young and lowly temp in the DfE when David Blunkett MP was in charge of education, great to hear from him at #EmpSkills22. Interesting on how you get the balance btwn skills strategy/higher standards for all nationally and design/deliver locally.

Good to see UK Shared Prosperity Fund plans approved at last. Is there any way of knowing however whether/how local areas' investment plans have been fully approved or amended? #UKSPF

Great article from Helen Barnard - the active brokering of quality PT/flexible work opportunities with employers is key to LM crisis. Not just JCP but whole employment support sector can lever more change here and has plenty of experience, esp working with disabled people.

Good to hear BBC focus on support for NHS whistleblowing and reminded of my own 15 minutes of fame 10 years ago this week. A 75th NHS birthday wish: freedom to speak up shines its light in every corner of healthcare bbc.co.uk/news/health-66…
