🥶A Freeze Warning remains in effect from 9pm tonight thru Sunday morning across the entire area. Temps will plummet into the lower 20s inland with upper 20s to around 30° along the coast! Be sure to take extra precaution as conditions can kill crops & sensitive vegetation.

230pm-Much of the area has been upgraded to an enhanced risk of severe weather on Friday. The severe weather threat will begin early Friday morning over western portions of the area & spread east thru the day. Main threats include damaging winds, large hail, & tornadoes.

🌪️9pm UPDATE - Severe storms likely early in the morning thru the afternoon on Friday. Storms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging wind, & tornadoes (a STRONG TORNADO is possible). Tornado threat increases in the morning as warm front surges north from the Gulf (1/3)

⏲️03/18 TIMING - Storms will enter southeast Mississippi & southwest Alabama in the pre-dawn hours (as early as 4am). Severe threat spreads east thru the morning and afternoon...and shifts east of I-65 by mid-afternoon with storms coming to an end by late afternoon (5pm). (2/3)

A tornado watch has been issued for parts of Alabama and Mississippi until 7 PM CDT
