The Israeli army using an injured Palestinian civilian as a human shield tied to the front of a military jeep in Jabriyat (Jenin, WB) this morning. The same army which is justifying its war of annihilation in Gaza based on the human shielding argument.

Serious question: has there ever been a female football commentator on a mainstream Dutch football tv show? It's so jarring watching the euros, I've seen about 25 different people sat round tables analysing the games and no women yet

Anyone got any recommendations for online resources for students on "How to read an ICJ case effectively?" I find they often struggle with the volume but I want to focus on primary material and not just give them lists of paragraph numbers #internationallaw

New #OpenAccess publication online with Law & Practice of ICTs! Pretty proud of this one. I establish the extinction of disputes as a legal process in int law, with important implications for admissibility/jurisdiction of ICTs. Hope you enjoy! brill.com/view/journals/…

There's a popular narrative here that says immigrants are destroying Western culture. I'd like to assert the opposite: immigrants are not only contributing to Western culture, they are often saving parts of it. Let's explore. 🧵
