My current despair: yes the US has been and currently is a villainous state which is inflicting injustice around the world. No this does not mean other bad states are good or beyond criticism. I want all the basic rights for all the people in all the places. It's not complicated.

I take note of #ICJ 's decision ordering 🇮🇱 to halt military operations in Rafah and to open the Rafah crossing for humanitarian aid and basic services.

ICJ's orders are binding on the Parties and they must comply with them.

I expect their full and immediate implementation.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) rules that “Israel must immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah”.

Keeping or making migrants poor is a really bad and cynical strategy for a wealthy country. Keeping anyone poor is far more costly than supporting them in the long run. It also disadvantages children often with lifelong impacts. Please argue for investment in people and services.
