Anyway, if I'd wanted to get the train to and from Oxford for the event tonight - a distance of 53 miles - it would have cost me £108 and the return journey would have taken over EIGHT HOURS.

A bit of information about our October guest. 'Other Women' was *massively* endorsed by Ann Cleeves last night - we're looking forward to hearing more, 16th October Hull Libraries.

So thrilled to see Both Sides of the Couch discussed In today’s The Times and The Sunday Times in a beautiful piece by Claire Cohen. Anna & I are extremely grateful to her for the sensitive way she explored the stories at the heart of the book. #traumarecovery #trauma #bothsidesofthecouch #therapy

Why are women’s dressing gowns so insubstantial? I don’t want to look like a giggling ‘70s nymphet. I want to look like Great Uncle Bulgaria wrestling with arctic existentialism in a John Carpenter remake of The Wombles.

Thrilled to have a Christmas crime story in this cracker of an anthology. Not a turkey amongst them. Highly recommend stocking up on these. (I'll keep punning until you pre-order.) (Fair warning.)

Sometimes you take a beloved hoodie out of your public rotation and move it into your pajama rotation, and that’s a very solemn moment in the lifecycle of an introvert
