Today, we had the privilege of meeting Amira Elghawaby, who the Government of 🇨🇦 recently appointed as the Special Representative on Combating Islamophobia. At Newcomer Women's Services Toronto, we take pride in providing an accessible and inclusive environment for our diverse staff and clients.
It was a pleasure hosting Amira Elghawaby for a Meet & Greet Newcomer Women's Services Toronto where we discussed ways to supporting the Muslim community and addressing Islamophobia.
The Canadian dream is alive and well in Ontario, & we need all hands on deck to build it. We are partnering with organizations like Newcomer Women's Services Toronto to provide training & pathways to labour markets for immigrants & refugee women, helping them build a better life in this province.
