Friend invited me to his family's Thanksgiving and I wasn't expecting it to be like-- the entire massive extended family so I'm just standing here awkwardly

Somehow ended up at a second family's Thanksgiving today. Learned that some people actually have family, and relatives and loved ones that they actually like and connect and relate to and it's not all coldness and detachment....

Ok it's finally too cold to smoke outside because your hands will freeze so, I think, at least for the long winter, I'll finally quit smoking

Haven't been tweeting a lot because I'm extremely depressed. Which is different than usual because typically I tweet through depression -- unless I've finally reached a new stage of anhedonic despair in which even rambling into the void fails to do anything. Sad
