Hey Baddies! What do you prefer to use to help soothe your eczema? Thick ointments and occlusives create a barrier on the skin to help keep it moisturized. While light weight creams can contain active ingredients that help soothe your eczema flare ups.

1/ [THREAD] Hey Baddies! Here’s your reminder to wear sunscreen to help treat your hyperpigmentation. UV rays trigger the skin to produce more melanin. So if you already have dark spots, then they can become darker and harder to fade away. Don’t mess up all of your hard work.

Mineral sunscreens will never be universal or work on all skin types because they physically sit on top of the skin and leave behind a white, grey, or purple cast, especially on deeper skin tones. Universal protection should include universal wearability.

1/ [THREAD] Calling all Baddies with Babies!! I recently read a research article that I thought was very interesting. A pilot study suggests that putting an emollient moisturizer on your baby’s skin every day from birth can significantly decrease their risk of developing eczema.
