Only folks rushing to offer MCP servers should be dev tools, API providers and data platform companies with app marketplaces. If you are not one of them, don't be in a hurry to disintermediate yourself.

For a good sold in the US for $100, ~$12 go to China (base for tarrif). The rest, $88 for the design + shipping + wholesale + retail + branding, etc. go to US taxpayers! If demand for it drops by 50%, China loses $6 and US agents more than $44, that is 7x more contraction.

Folks, a 10% broad tariff on everything plus 125% on China, is a **25pp increase in the effective tariff rate**, even accounting for USMCA exemptions. That's almost exactly where 2025 tariff policy was this morning. It was just less concentrated on China & more weighted overseas

Since the initial tariff announcement stocks are lower, bonds are lower, the dollar’s lower, and consumer confidence cratered. And there have now been two substantial dial backs. Have we gotten anything in return?

Sigh. Just fully internalized that for most people born after 2010, the ā€œpersonā€ most engaged and interested in their adult lives is going to be an LLM šŸ˜ž

The average person paid $17,776 in taxes last year. So glad to know more of that went toward a massive defense budget instead of making sure everyone has healthcare

Noam, may we tag you into every thread where some influencer is posting clickbait about OpenAI please? Or maybe you could but a Noam-agent.

Even if an 18-year fund has a 20X GROSS RETURN (with the same distribution formula -- distribute 25% of the returns over the back half, and then distribute 25% in each of the last three year), you would still have a lower IRR than a 10 year 4x fund. Crazy!
