Vers van de pers samen met Bram Wouterse en Sander Boxebeld over de waarde van preventie. Vaak kijken we bij preventie alleen naar de impact op zorgkosten, terwijl de baten juist breder zijn. We laten zien hoe dat berekent kan worden en geven een voorbeeld van overgewicht.

As always a great atmosphere and lovely location at lolaHESG. Also a nice discussion of my multi-country DCE on skin cancer prevention policies by Mattijs Lambooij, we won the pubquiz with our dream team and cute duckies as a prize. What else could a health economist wish for?

Ready for #EuHEA 2024 in Vienna! 12 hours by train from the Netherlands, many of them spent in R/Stata/Excel. It costs more money, fair enough, but think of the scenery you're getting, the time for data cleaning and analysis, averted emissions, and earned karma points 😎
