I was once a dairy farmer, now a dairy grazier . Things I’ve learnt. -Take the empties off pronto.Stop paying for cattle that are eating feed your in calf replacements could be. - Stay in contact even if you can’t visit . -Weights are just one tool , they’re not the whole story.

My first ever SIDE conference, love that it’s in Timaru. Got to see some friends yesterday on the trip down from ChCh airport. Looking forward to the field trip this arvo and maybe seeing if I can get a beer out of old thistle pockets The Country tonight .
