Volgaynoes, a volcanology-themed queer art collaboration with Ailsa Naismith is now live on Kickstarter! 🏳️🌈🌋🏳️🌈 This is a science-art collaboration that shows off the beauty and diversity of volcanic processes on our planet while celebrating LGBTQ+ scientists and volcano lovers.
So proud of Samantha Tramontano during her PhD defense! She is why I started studying 🌋and I can only hope to be like her one day. She makes being a scientist feel possible.(Ignore the tears. I hadn't heard Sam, Marc-Antoine Longpré, or Dr. Ludmans voice in like 3 years and couldn't stop crying)

🪨A 400-million-year-old classroom! (1/2) We hosted students from American Museum of Natural History's Master of Arts in Teaching Science program for their annual visit to the MHB. Behind our bridge office lies an ancient rock outcrop, estimated to be over 400 million years old. Talk about hands-on teaching!
