Spent a fascinating day at an aircrew CRM course, welcomed by @mike_sooty and Draken Europe 🙏. Lazy parallels between healthcare & aviation are common - but emulating nuances of personal reflection, openness in error & debriefing (good & bad!!) in NHS are v achievable. ✈️

This won’t surprise anyone who sees emergencies in cardiac lab. - Unfamiliar, unmarked kit & storage - Unclear objectives between cardio/anaesthetic team - Variable (!) comms - Horrible ergonomics Could it be improved with better standardisation, joint sim & debriefing?
