When I wrote for The Times at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival about the poor racegoer experience, tickets were £100 (Day 1-3) & £117 (Day 4) on the gate. Astounded to just find out that, 2 years later, that’s now £126 & £149. It’s only £100/117 if booked before 4th December😳

Gutted to see that Hurlerontheditch died in July. Such a likeable horse to watch over obstacles, especially that day at Warwick in November 2023. A spectacular round of jumping apart from the last.

Just had such a great swim. Got dared to do a length of butterfly by a chap and the lifeguard kindly gave me some tips on how to breathe properly. Nice to know my technique is still ‘spot-on’ after all the hours I put in practicing (and money mum spent!) when I was a kid!🏊‍♀️
