That's a wrap!👏 On Wednesday we performed our final assembly show for the 2024-2025 school year. What a pleasure it was to perform The Choice for the students and teachers of Pittsburgh Classical 6-8 with Pgh Public Schools ! Thank you for having us! saltworks.org/assemblies/

In the 2024-2025 school year, our tour actors performed 87 shows for a total of 20,283 students! We're so proud of the impact they've made in our schools, sharing messages of hope and encouragement to students in grades K-12! We cannot wait for the 2025-2026 school year!

It's Summer Studio Week!!🌞 It's always a joy to see our space come alive with creative minds & WOO-HOO Attitudes! They spent time getting to know each other, playing improv games, learning about script writing, & working in teams to start brainstorming their New Works ideas.🎭

All the world's a stage!🎭 Day 2 of Summer Studio provided an opportunity for our Young Actors to explore the world of Shakespeare! Our teachers did a wonderful job helping them understand the language & acting out their translations! #saltworkstheatrecompany #woohooattitude

Puppets in Pittsburgh!🎭 If you grew up in Pittsburgh and watched PBS as a kid, you know that puppetry was a delightful staple on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. At Saltworks, we're glad that our teacher Lexie brought in a variety of puppets yesterday for our Young Actors to use!

Improv, Movement, & Music, OH MY!!🎶 Yesterday our morning group spent their time working together on improv games, movement exercises, and refining their New Works. They also got to work on some musical theater with our incoming Executive Director Stephanie!🙌 More to come!
