A huge thank you to all the volunteers who have helped our Rangers plant trees at Worsley Woods, Clifton Country Park and Blackleach Country Park. 💚 This planting season they've planted 536 trees, as part of our pledge to plant 8,000 trees in Salford between 2024 and 2028.

Lots of Himalayan Balsam cleared today. nice to see the Black Poplar I planted doing well, wonder if it will grow to be as big as some of the others in Worsley Woods

Frederick Road will be closed for six months starting from 12 July for essential #SalfordRise construction works. The road will be closed between Lissadel Street and Leslie Hough Way to both vehicles and pedestrians as the 220m elevated footway gets built above it 🏍️ 🛻 🚙
