I was honored to take part in the first look celebration for the Siteman Cancer Center's new ambulatory cancer building. This modern facility gives us hope that many more cancer patients will be cured and that their quality of life while receiving treatment will be high.

Today my staff and I are volunteering with the St. Louis Area Foodbank for their 9/11 day of service. More than 30 million Americans participate in this day of service each year, and I’m so glad to see so many volunteers right here in St. Louis.
