JROTC teaches land navigation during the school year. Summer camp allows the cadets to put into practice what they learned during school. Now, it’s for real. Make the connection.

At the end of every day, student leadership conducts a command and staff brief with the camp commander. This is a student led program with Army and Air Force Instructors serving as facilitators. Learn to lead!

Camp is over. We finished up the award ceremony at Sam Houston State and now we are headed back to Houston. HISD cadets rocked the house with the Cadet Creed to open the ceremony.

Class of 2023 alumnae enlisted today for US Army. We came to support her and her family in this special day in her life. She was a leader in our battalion and I’m glad she is where she always wanted to be… Go Army! Sam Houston MSTC
