Los Angeles Public Press The ordinance will need another vote before it can go into effect. The earliest date for that vote should be the first week of December. It's got an urgency clause on it, so it could go into effect immediately if signed by mayor.

We're here advocating for deeper affordability, particularly where the demolition of rent-stabilized units is involved & stronger tenant protections & environmental safeguards than currently proposed + for the application of these incentive programs to R1 (single-family) zones.
