#MyCityMyHeritage After the devastating floods of 1908, the Seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan, initiated the construction of a lake to channel excess water from the Musi River. In 1920, the lake became a fully functioning reservoir & was named Osman Sagar.
