Safe families are families that are supported to care for their children. The Youth Crisis Respite Center will provide a short term 24/7 supervised space for children to receive trauma informed, person centered care.

This past Friday, we hosted a ribbon cutting and open house event at our new Children's Crisis Respite Center! We are proud to continue to support the mental health of the youth in our community in partnership with Travis County TX, Texas HHSC, and SAFE.

Earlier this month, Texas Women's Health Caucus included SAFE on their tour of Austin facilities and organizations that support women's health. Thanks to Chair Donna Howard and Executive Director Kristen Ylana for including us!
