Better to Beg is hysterical, full of despair, and honestly made me a bit introspective as an artist. Also the cover/title combo fucking slaps. Look at that shit. NEXT UP: HONEY MONTH, by Sadie Shorr-Parks (Sadie Shorr-Parks)! toughbastardbooks.com/product-page/b…

Honey Month, by Sadie Shorr-Parks (Sadie Shorr-Parks) Honey Month is: condescending cicadas striking a nerve; learning what the word “pluvial” means and falling in love; walking wet-socked on dog walks; finding joy in unexpected enjambments and playful punctuation—

It’s reading the best abecedarius I’ve ever read during bone week. It’s being reminded that it’s fine to feel like an artist at night. Honey Month is full of iconic lines, spectacular imagery, and poignant poems. Shorr-Parks kills it with this debut collection.

We write today with extraordinary good news: since our Feb 8 announcement, we've seen an overwhelming show of support. We heard from friends we knew about, but also from friends we didn’t know we had. As a result, we’re not suspending operations after all. Read more on our site.
