🧵Critical data from Department for Work and Pensions #FamilyResourcesSurvey on #foodinsecurity just released. There's been a 2% increase in severe and moderate #foodinsecurity comparing #FRS data from 2019-20 to 2022-23 with 17% of households reporting severe, moderate or marginal #foodinsecurity
As the Department for Work and Pensions says 'This is the lowest proportion of food-secure households since the introduction of household food security to the FRS in 2019 to 2020. In previous survey years, the proportion of food-secure households has been broadly stable.'
