Just a reminder that most people seek understanding and compassion, even in difficult times. We cannot allow extremists to deter peaceful and principled protest. Nor should we allow elected officials to incite violence. We must make our voices heard, now and in November.

Just saw “Just Mercy” at the theater. Easily the best film I’ve seen in years. Powerful, emotional, raw. And yet the film, Michael B. Jordan & Jamie Foxx were snubbed by the Motion Picture Academy. Sad. #OscarsSoWrong

Kudos to Sen. Lisa Murkowski for voting her conscience. Too bad Jeff Flake, Sen. Susan Collins and Senator Joe Manchin decided differently, not recognizing as Sen Murkowski did that other qualified candidates could have been a better choice.
