It’s sickening that the Government are focusing on how the JAC minutes are leaked rather than the allegations contained in the JAC minutes. Such a reaction by the Government only confirms that there is interference with the judicial appointments process by them à la VK Lingam.

DAP and PH can and should do better. An apology, money, and bowing is lazy and grossly inadequate. How about enacting IPCMC? Or laws that would prevent similar incidents from happening and ensure accountability? There has been no improvements in the law since TBH’s fall. Sad

DBKL removing the ‘Turun Anwar’ Rally stage smacks of bad faith and harassment. They have a duty to facilitate the assembly, which naturally includes having a platform to deliver speeches. That’s common in past rallies like Bersih. This is petty harassment by the authorities.
