It’s been wonderful to be back home during Diwali for the first time in approx. 15 years? It nourishes the soul seeing Rangoli, Toran, and Diyas everywhere. Happy Diwali everyone!

I just removed an em dash from my writing. Mostly because I didn’t want for it to be mistaken for AI writing :’( I need to find text samples from grad school where I’d gone overboard and used 30 em dashes in an email, just as proof of stylistic integrity.

Ok, I have to say, this is absolutely incredible. I think the SA is somewhat incorrect, but gotta say it's really incredible!

I don't think it's got 0 spine. Nanobanana pro is clearly correct here, it's even aware that it'll likely have hallucinations. This seems p accurate and fair to me. This pushback doesn't seem to be sycophantic to me?

Just shipped GitHub analytics in Arka. Super useful for understanding engineering velocity + PR cycles in minutes. Expect some rough edges, but that’s the point. Building in the open so we can improve fast. Would love your feedback; what would like to see next?

It’s the book that got me so interested in what I did for my PhD (A variant of the Lobster experiment took place at UCSD) — I did end up rereading it recently, part one is remains amazing.
