Landlord sent an electrician immediately after reading my email. When he removed the outlet from the wall it was sparking and smoking... That's one hell of a disaster averted...

NOAA-15, the last and oldest remaining POES satellite was just decomissioned a few minutes ago. I hope whoever in took the decision is happy about having destroyed some of the most reliable weather satellites in existance. I wish NOAA all the worst luck for future missions.
