We miss our LAMPS (library, art, music, PE, school counseling) team, the best in the state! These classes play a crucial role in the full development of students by fostering creativity, physical health, emotional well-being, & intellectual growth! We can’t wait to see them shine

Finally got to meet Hamish Brewer & tell him in person how much he has meant to me as a leader, father, & husband. Reading his book coming out of COVID saved me & gave me strength to push through. There aren’t enough words to say how grateful I am for his inspiration, love, & fire!

Our instructional leadership team got it done today, planning out the school year for the most magical experience for our students. I can’t express how grateful we are to have such an amazing group of instructional leaders ready to shine their light!

Huge thanks to Inspiration Renovation, LLC for transforming our school hallways with a fresh coat of paint on 79 door frames! This major project has made a significant difference in the appearance of our building.

Our new mural is almost complete! This beautiful artwork will feature the 20 yearbooks that have been printed throughout the years at Greenwood. Celia Jones, the talented artist, has meticulously captured the spirit and history of our school.

We are loving our new banners outside on the playground! They are a crucial in helping to create a strong identity and foster a sense of community. We take great pride in how our building looks, both inside and out, ensuring every detail inspires and values our students.

Grateful for the Hoyt family & our volunteers for beautifying the Gator Gardens & Alex the Gator by our main entrance. Their dedication ensures that our school grounds not only look beautiful, but also provide a welcoming & inspiring environment for all stakeholders.

The Night Before School Virtual Reading: Sunday, August 18 (6PM) We are excited to continue our annual reading of The Night Before School, written by our Greenwood teachers! The purpose is to share a little story with our gators to get them excited about the first day of school.

Grandparents Day on Friday, Sept 6 was a huge success! It was heartwarming to see so many family members come together to celebrate with us. This continues to be one of the highlights of our entire year, & we're grateful for the love & support our grandparents bring to the school

We loved hearing the drums in the hallway on Friday morning during arrival! We hope more students can sign up to play piano on Mondays, DJ on Wednesdays, or drums on Fridays. Alumni and parents are welcome to join too! Let’s make arrival magical with music!
