For the timeline, times where Mando was a hired gun/muscle/protector/transport service etc: - Ch. 1-3 - Ch. 4, 5, 6 - Ch. 9, 10, 12 - Ch. 21, 22 - I'd count helping in BOBF (and maybe Bo retake Mandalore) as well So, no I don't think him being a hired gun stopped in season 1.
