1 year to the day since Ryan Papenhuyzen fractured his patella in 10 places.

One of the most significant musculoskeletal injuries we’ve seen in the NRL in recent times - his rehab process has been gradual/intermittent but nearing end stage now!

When 90% of nrl players don’t play international football. This isn’t a pot of money the NRL are paying for out of their pockets. Exact same with well-being/education/past player transition/injury hardship

Not asking for another dollar, not about money

Tried to negotiate in good faith for the best part of 2 years,time to let an independent mediator decide, if it’s such a wonderful deal I can’t see why the NRL would oppose this?

We’d accept any rulings made, time to get on with it

From a perspective of someone going through a rehab.. I respect this. It’s a tough place to be and can be a tougher place to communicate sometimes. Clayton has the right to challenge , trainer has the right to explain. Honest and vulnerable = best outcome.
