Thanks so much for watching. Glad to have added just a bit to your Sunday, Lizzy. And thanks for schooling me on what a hog house is. I had no idea such things existed, but there clearly need to be more in the world. 🦔🛖

I'm juggling three heavy projects right now, but a message like this reminds me how lucky I am to be able to do what I do. Thank you so much for reading deeply & spreading the word, Michael. It means the world that you think my six years spent writing it weren't wasted.

I thoroughly enjoyed this first episode & am already eagerly awaiting the next. Excellent book talk from David Henry Headley & guest-turned-host (at least, for the 1st episode) S J Watson.

For our #MotiveTO “Ethics in Crime Fiction” panel, Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA) & PIF brought out artist Adrian Hayles to capture the moment. Without doubt one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen at a festival—crime or otherwise. (And yes, I do look like a 90s video game villain.)

Meticulous, indeed. Best nonfiction I’ve read this year. SCOUNDREL is a tremendous book—a piercing insight into the judicial system & the U.S. I think I’ve gifted it three times already. It is the epitome of hindsight being 20/20. Clean, clean, clean writing.
