I thoroughly enjoyed this first episode & am already eagerly awaiting the next. Excellent book talk from David Henry Headley & guest-turned-host (at least, for the 1st episode) S J Watson.
Thank you Globe Books & Judith Pereira for the excellent celebration of crime fiction & #MotiveTO festival in today’s The Globe and Mail. Thanks too to Emily Donaldson for making sense of my ramblings!
Join us on June 3 as Craig Offman sits down with authors Ryan Gattis & Sarah Weinman (sarahweinman.bsky.social) for an enlightening discussion about their books, the intersection of fiction and true crime & criminal justice and consequence. Get tickets: bit.ly/38z7XcW #MotiveTO #Toronto
Fascinating interview with Sarah Weinman (sarahweinman.bsky.social) and Ryan Gattis Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA) about the state of American justice. Delighted to sit beside Kellye Garrett
For our #MotiveTO “Ethics in Crime Fiction” panel, Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA) & PIF brought out artist Adrian Hayles to capture the moment. Without doubt one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen at a festival—crime or otherwise. (And yes, I do look like a 90s video game villain.)
Yesterday, we invited acclaimed crime fiction authors to explore the links between their writing and their ongoing work to better the justice system as part of Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA)'s #MotiveTO. Thanks to Robert Rotenberg, marcie rendon, Beverley McLachlin and Ryan Gattis!
UK publishers, check this out. Praise from Liz Nugent is all the confirmation you need 👇🏾
