Have heard from multiple people that PMs are adopting AI tools like agents much faster at their orgs than the software engineers! My hypothesis is this: AI gives them the capability to build things they can't currently get eng to build, so more motivation as it's an unlock.

Just purchased a 3 character domain name (6 if you include the TLD). Like, brand new registration, didn't buy it off someone. I'm actually in shock right now. Also, it's for an Open Source project idea I'm pretty excited about.

Collapsed-by-default sidebars on SaaS products when viewing from a desktop computer with ample screen real estate seems like the most obvious thing to change for helping users to navigate more easily. Multiple SaaS providers are getting this wrong IMO.

I'm undecided how I feel about kyaml but it feels like it should have either been a decision to use JSONC, or there should have been more of a push to get schemas in place in the tooling to tackle the whitespace issues. Mixing curley braces into YAML just feels.. distasteful

Okay, this was pretty magical. I was debugging an issue, hand-in-hand with the main agent: adding logs, trying stuff, asking the agent, sharing more info. Then, once I kinda knew where the issue was, I asked main agent to ask the oracle for what the issue is. It found it.

This is something that’s bothered me for years Why is it normal for CLI tools to stick API keys in some text file in your home directory?

Today we followed through on a commitment made on May 17: Amp β€” Research Preview would switch to AGENTS not AGENT dot md if OpenAI could get the domain. They did, and now Amp and several other tools have aligned on a standard agent filename. Huge thanks to OpenAI and all the other

Zed has raised a $32M Series B, led by @Sequoia. We’re full speed ahead making a great editor, but there’s a bigger picture: we're building DeltaDB, a new kind of database for collaborative coding. Early days, but the vision is clear: zed.dev/blog/sequoia-b…

If you use coding agents to write markdown files, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) hasn't changed all that much. Product Design Doc / PRD = why, what customers want, scope. Technical Design Doc / Spec = how are we going to build it, functional/non-functional

I find it ironic cert-manager expects to be written as "cert-manager" yet uses "selfsigned" and not "self-signed" in resource names/docs
